Band saws blades are generally electrically driven by an electric motor. The saw is lightweight and endless, meaning that the saw band is attached together in a circle. The saw band moves between two wheels on the blade with space for the workpiece in between. The band saw makes cuts with its teeth to cut meat or fish, for example.A band saw knives through the material, so to speak, with a sharpened blade with teeth or serrations. The saw blade rotates from top to bottom and is well suited for long cuts. Even materials of great thickness are easily cut through. The thin saw blade makes it easy to cut curves. The narrower the saw blade the sharper the curve. The cutting speed depends on the material, the harder the material the lower the cutting speed.
